Also regarding your pants, not all fabrics are bad, a lot of MTM stuff is just not made for pants. But you don't know making one off stuff. I have tested fabrics extensively to prevent something like that because if you have a bad batch of RTW pants that's problematic.

The use of the towel... no, a 100% cotton shirt and wrap your hair and let dry like women use to dry their hair in a towel, but with a cotton shirt. Also, you have a hair type closer to 3A hair. I have 3B and is more frizzy, you wouldn't be able to use a towel like that.

I actually go full vintage and wear high rise pleated trousers that are wide in the leg (think 10" open at the cuff when lying flat). If the pants are cut well and you are confident in the look, you don't look like a "grandpa". Pants that are cut wide and straight in the leg can also be more comfortable to wear in warmer weather. In "To Catch a Thief", Cary Grant opens the movie by wearing grey flannels in a warm climate. Normally these would be way too warm to wear, but he can do it because the fabric is draping instead of hugging his leg. When combined with a shorter hem, the fabric takes the sun off the skin while allowing air to circulate in the leg (note: This really works well in dry heat. If the humidity is high, it doesn't really matter what you wear. You're gonna sweat!) In general, I see many people lean toward tapering the trouser leg because they are scared of looking old. If you get a pair that fits and drapes nicely, you might be surprised with how they look.

This is why asians don't do DNA tests unless they want to find a recent ancestor who is separate from the group and how they traveled and mixed with a larger cluster. Usually I see racists say these things "north africa is white" when scientists will laugh at peoples face for sayin that. You're mixed race but it happened so long ago that it made it's own group. Still mixed race with black north africans thousands of years ago. Eventually race will be seen as useless construct by the very nature of your mixed DNA by 2100+, which even USA will mostly be mixed.

Ironically the pandemic rekindled my interest in finer suits as I continued to wear scrubs for work. After finally buying a cotton dress shirt and wool suit in 2021 and 2022 respectively, I find them more comfortable than the cotton/poly blended scrubs, largely because I tend to run hot so having natural breathable materials makes a big difference, jacket or not.

I came from the high-rise pants video recently. Yeah, the algorithm truly giveth and taketh away. Love the humor. As This Watch, That Watch talks about, heritage is largely irrelevant because what matters is what the company is producing today, not what they made decades or centuries ago.

What I have noticed over the last few years is that brands only care about SAYING that they use good quality materials, but they don't actually use those materials. The materials and manufacturing method are the same (or even worse) than cheap clothes that don't spend on marketing to talk about the quality of the product.
